farheamFareham is an important market town set between Portsmouth and Southampton. It has links to the Roman era but is most commonly documented since the Norman invasion where its waterways were used to land Norman troops in order to take the then capital of Winchester. Fareham has a mix of maritime and industrial history and has become an urban expansion area

The town was once known as Ferneham and this has given its name to the large entertainment centre which hosts this antiques and collector’s fair. The fair boasts up to 100 stall-holders selling a wide variety of quality antiques. The fair takes place twice a year and is very well attended by trade and public alike.
