Chichester is the administrative capital of West Sussex. It is noted for its Roman history – part of the original walls are still in situ, though the town has exceeded their boundary somewhat. Close by is Fishbourne Palace, one of the largest and most extensively excavated Roman Villas in Britain. Chichester also boasts one of the most recognisable Norman cathedrals and a bustling medieval high street and market square. A great location for one of the largest Antiques fairs in the area.
The Fair takes place at the leisure centre twice a year and is home to around 100 stalls with a wide range of antiques, vintage and collectables. This is a prestigious fair and well worth a visit – but make sure you have plenty of cash (or your flexible friend) for all those quality antiques
