About

TSV Antiques is a family run business based in the charming countryside of Hampshire. Between us, we have over 20 years in the antiques business and work hard to source the finest in everything the world of antiques has to offer.

Our motto is “Something for everyone at a price for everyone” so we try to gather an eclectic mix of decorative items, practical home-wares, jewellery and collectables. We don’t specialise so there is something to browse for every kind of antiques enthusiast.

TSV Antiques – Not too dear

The rise in interest in vintage and “retro” styling is in no small way due to the fine artistry which erstwhile accompanied trends and fashions. We do tend to think that the originals are the best though so we try – as best we can – to stick to a dateline of the 1970s, this way our customers can be assured that there are no repros or copies. We also research EVERY piece to ensure that our customers can be confident in their purchases.

Where we can we share this research so to find out a little about our stock, please take a few moments to catch up on some of our blogs, or browse some of what we have on offer.

Who are TSV Antiques?

At present we are a little camera shy so trust the attached images as representations of our character:

Barbara

Barbara

Barbara has been in the antiques business for over 20 years and specialises in antique and vintage jewellery – though she knows quite about everything else as well. With a constant eye on quality (and price) Barbara is the inspiration for many of our 4 a.m. starts (yes, this job requires many anti-social hours); not afraid to be on the road with an ever full wallet on the hunt for the best.

In the blogs she may be referred to as “business partner” though this is more of a term of endearment than anything else. She loves a sneaky gin and tonic but is never happier than when poking through a box of glittery things.

Ian

Ian

Ian is the office dogsbody. Originally drafted in to help Barbara run an online shop, the bug soon bit and he now has more than enough knowledge to pick out the best (he really doesn’t care too much for the 4 a.m. starts though!!!). Generally Ian manages the office and internet based tasks and is really happiest with an antique in one hand and search-engine in the other.

Ian writes the blogs and (if he remembers) keeps this website going. If he had three hands the third would be reserved for a large single malt whiskey.
